 Asylum Fight League Nov 15, 2008 - Club Abyss - Sayerville, New Jersey :: Former Pro MMA Fighter & Promoter Carl Mascarenhas put together one slobber knocker of a fight card this evening.
18 amateur matches stacked with the next generation of local MMA bad asses from the best MMA camps on the east coast. Team Tiger Schulman MMA, The Rhino Fight Team, AMA Fight Club, Team Carmine Zocchi were all well represented.
The evolution of the MMA fighter is an amazing thing to have witnessed over the past 15 years. This next generation of MMA studs are just truly complete Mixed Martial Artists, no longer are they just kick-boxers that know some grappling or vise versa these kids are complete MMA athletes in every aspect of the game.
Tomorrows MMA stars duke it out right here at the Asylum Fight League. Some stars shine brighter than others though and a few are just out of this world.
TSMMA fighter Julio Arce is one of these next generation stars who has it all going on. Sharp striking, slick ground game and cardio that seemed endless led Julio to a victory over tough as nails Carmine Zocchi trained Doug Miller. This was a battle of the undefeated studs and someone had to suffer the loss and Arce was just the better fighter last night.
The Carmine Zocchi Fight Team had plenty to cheer about though with their ace Cruiserweight Manny Cuevas remaining undefeated and earning a title shot at the next show after a tough fight with Justin Hoffmaster out of the Drago MMA camp.
AMA fight clubs'Andy Main is another guy to keep your eyes on this kid has dynamite in his hands with his 10 second dismantling of Robert Flores. The night was full of hotly contested matches below are the full results.
